Going Beyond the Expected
Community support often comes in unexpected forms. When Bledlow Ridge Cricket Club needed assistance removing waste following improvement works, VIRTUS arranged for its lorries to collect and remove the material, proving that being a good neighbour is often about practical support as much as financial investment.
In addition, VIRTUS became aware of the fly-tipping incident and the significant financial impact it would have on the landowner, a farmer whose family has owned and worked the land since 1913.
After working with local residents to identify and contact the landowner, VIRTUS reached out to help. Less than 24 hours later, VIRTUS visited the site to assess the scale of the operation. Within 48 hours of the initial contact, VIRTUS were on-site, removing all of the rubbish at no cost to the landowner and saving him thousands of pounds.
Supporting Local ResidentsAs a small gesture of thanks to local residents, VIRTUS has distributed hundreds of complimentary car wash vouchers throughout the development process.
